Dr. WC Mamitele

Dr. WC Mamitele is a Urologist practicing at Botshilu Private Hospital.

Dr Wisani Craig Mamitele is an enthusiastic and selfless Urologist in public and private hospitals. Born and bred in Soweto, he attended his primary school in Soweto and matriculated at Orange Farm, south of Johannesburg.

Dr Mamitele obtained his undergraduate degree at MEDUNSA and graduated in 2004. He further enrolled for an internship at 1 Military Hospital and did his community service at Military sickbay and Heidelberg Hospital. His courageous character allowed him to work in the urology department of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) as a medical officer and was later deployed to various countries in Africa providing medical cover for soldiers in mission areas.

It was his childhood ambition in urology that led him to join the postgraduate programme at the University of Pretoria (UP) in 2011 – 2016. Dr Mamitele is currently a member of the South African Urological Association (SAUA) and has a special interest in kidney stone management, prostate conditions, and sexual health in men.
